A group of people standing in front of a nightclub on the Visconde de Baraúna Street in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil, was shot at by a pair of gunmen who arrived in a Renault Duster with fake plates, and opened indiscriminate fire at the group.
According to information from the Ponta Grossa Civil Police, two nightclub security guards were killed, and three customers critically wounded. According to the Fire Department representative, the three are at risk of death.
The vehicle used by the shooters was found by the Military Police in the region of Santa Lucia Park, about 500 meters from the nightclub. It had been was stolen a few days earlier in Curitiba.
Also according to the Civil Police, one of the gunmen used a .380-caliber handgun and would have fired at least 14 rounds. The other shooter reportedly fired a 12 gauge shotgun.
The incident, which was caught on CCTV, happened at approximately 11m on December 30, 2016. There are still no details about the motives for the crime.
