There is perhaps no crime more heinous than that of the sickos who engage in and view child pornography. One such sexual deviant was recently thrown in jail after police discovered several hundred videos and images of children and toddlers engaged in sexual activity with adults. The suspect was only behind bars for a matter of hours when he gained some brutal firsthand knowledge of what happens to pedophiles in prison.

The Elyria Police Department in Ohio executed a search warrant just before 9:30 a.m. on Monday at a home in the 500 block of Purdue Avenue. What they found was deeply disturbing and completely unforgivable. The 47-year-old suspect living there had been spending his days viewing sick and twisted pornography involving toddlers who were filmed being abused by adults.

Upon the discovery of his disturbing secret, the culprit was immediately taken into custody and then to the Elyria Police Department for processing. He was placed in a jail cell where police were making routine checks on him every 30 minutes.

It is unclear why authorities were keeping such a close eye on their suspect; perhaps they were leery that he might be harmed by other inmates, or perhaps, they feared he might harm himself. Whatever the case, 30 minutes proved to be ample time for the pedophile to meet his demise.

THE MAN WAS PLACED IN A JAIL CELL AND WAS BEING CHECKED ON EVERY 30 MIN, POLICE SAY. WHEN DETECTIVES CHECKED ON HIM FOR THE LAST TIME, THE MAN APPEARED TO BE DEAD.

THE LORAIN COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE. THE LORAIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WAS ALSO ASKED TO INVESTIGATE THE SUSPECT’S DEATH.

It is widely known that men behind bars do not take kindly to having pedophiles in their midst. Inmates with a rap sheet that includes child pornography are likely to experience a prison justice which is far more brutal than anything our country’s judicial system could ever dole out.

It is still unclear if the suspect in Ohio who died inside his jail cell this week lost his life at the hands of a fellow inmate, or if it was his own doing, but one thing is for sure: This world is a better place without him. That sorry excuse for a human being was only taking up space on this planet and wasting oxygen.
